Blair Schlecter

Mr. Schlecter was born and raised in Sherman Oaks, California.  He received his undergraduate degree in political science and history from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  During his undergraduate years, he also studied abroad at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England.

Mr. Schlecter graduated from UC Hastings College of Law in 2004.  While a student there, he was a student government representative and served on the admissions committee for the Law School.  He also served on the West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law and Policy.

He was admitted to the State Bar of California and United States District Court for the Central District of California in 2004.  He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Mr. Schlecter has been extensively involved in the firm’s municipal liability practice, defending civil rights claims against law enforcement officers and officials.  He has also worked in the areas of insurance defense and products liability, involving cases from landlord-tenant disputes to issues of benzene exposure.

His personal interests include football, traveling and history.
