Jennifer Grady

As an associate at Hurrell Cantrall LLP, Ms. Grady focuses her practice on employment law, products liability, toxic tort litigation, and government entity liability defense. She also has experience in all areas of general casualty claims, including catastrophic personal injury, major premises liability claims, automobile cases, toxic torts, and construction defect litigation. Some of the injuries alleged in these cases have included stroke, catastrophic brain injury, major orthopedic injuries, spinal injuries, and respiratory ailments. In addition, she also has expertise in property and business disputes, and has drafted numerous appellate briefs for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Grady received her J.D. degree from Loyola Law School, and her B.A. in Political Science/ International Relations from the University of California, San Diego.
At Loyola Law School, Ms. Grady was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court team, where she argued in the final round of the Pacific Regional Competition and earned an award as one of the top ten advocates of the competition. She was also a member of the Scott Moot Court Honors Board at Loyola. Her brief placed in the top 10 of those submitted for the intramural write-on competition.
Before law school, Ms. Grady attended a year-long Certificate program at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University, where she became a certified mediator and placed in the top 10% of her class. She has successfully mediated over 30 cases at small claims court and community centers throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.
Ms. Grady is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Italian American Lawyers Association, and is the Vice President of the Los Angeles Young Lawyers Association (LAYLA). She is admitted to practice in all of the California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Ms. Grady is fluent in Spanish, and enjoys travel, hiking, and cycling.
