Associate Anthony Perez joins Hurrell Cantrall LLP.  Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Perez was an attorney at a prominent insurance defense/litigation firm where he litigated and defended claims of premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and breach of contract.

Plaintiff sued various defendants, including numerous public agencies, alleging breach of contract. On behalf of three out-of-state public entity defendants, we successfully argued that California courts did not have personal jurisdiction over the matter and that exercising such jurisdiction would be a gross violation of defendants’ constitutional rights to due process and violate notions of fair play and substantial justice.

Mr. Hurrell was recognized for the great legal work done on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.  The County of Los Angeles presented Mr. Hurrell with its 2007 “Attorney of the Year” award.
