Kevin Miller has lived, studied, and worked in the Los Angeles area for his entire life.  Prior to attending law school, he held paid and volunteer positions with local government agencies including the local court system and District Attorney.  While attending law school, Mr. Miller held a summer internship with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, assisting in the prosecution of corruption and fraud by public officials. He also worked as a legal research assistant and law clerk.

After law school, Mr. Miller worked at several real estate litigation firms, drafting motions and pleadings, interviewing clients, and conducting settlement negotiations. Additionally, he worked for the County of Los Angeles, conducting internal investigations of employee misconduct, as well as advising executive management on employment and discipline-related legal and other issues. Mr. Miller has also volunteered at various public interest legal clinics focusing on criminal record expungement, conservatorships, and employment issues.

In his current defense litigation practice, Mr.  Miller is involved in all aspects of the cases, including fact gathering, discovery, depositions, and law and motion.  Additionally, this practice encompasses a wide variety of claims and clients, including federal education law, employment discrimination, personal injury, and police liability and civil rights matters.
