Defense Verdict in Employment Trial

An law enforcement employee filed a claim against eight supervisors and/or high ranking officials and the employing public entity alleging nine employment law related causes of action.  Demurrer was granted as to five causes of action.  The plaintiff perfected his pleading with claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under FEHA/CFRA; civil rights violations under the Bane and Ralph Acts; and whistleblower retaliation under Labor Code § 1102.5.  After a three week trial, a full defense verdict was obtained.
