Janet Hur’s practice focuses on representing employers in various aspects civil litigation, including wage and hour individual and class actions, representative actions under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She also provides preventive advice and counseling on workplace law matters.
Janet earned her Juris Doctorate degree from University of San Francisco where she focused her studies on trial advocacy. Janet is admitted to practice before all California state courts and before the United States District Court, Central District of California.
Before joining Hurrell Cantrall, Janet was an associate for national defense law firms and her practice focused on representing large international corporations, as well as small entities in wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, and single/multi-plaintiff employment matters.
